WWE Could Massively Hurt Jade Cargill With Bad Creative Call
One of WWE’s current headaches involves Jade Cargill.
Through no fault of hers, the 33-year-old star has found herself in no man’s land, struggling to land a consistent gimmick.
At WWE Night of Champions, stars appeared to have aligned for The Storm, as she beat Asuka in the final of the Queen of the Ring Tournament.
As a result, she earned the right to challenge the Women’s Champion at SummerSlam.
She challenged Tiffany Stratton, who had been the title holder since January 2025. While Stratton has been an exciting champion to watch, rumors were rife that the belt would find a new owner.
However, to everyone’s surprise, Jade Cargill lost cleanly at ‘the Biggest Party of the Summer.’
Since then, she has been featured in backstage segments on two consecutive SmackDown episodes, confronting Tiffany Stratton.
Former wrestler Magnum T.A. recently appeared on The Four Horsemen Network podcast and explained how one wrong creative call could derail Cargill’s success in the Stamford promotion.
Obviously, they had Jade do the favor in that match in SummerSlam. And a lot of people thought she was gonna win. But in fairness, and no criticism to her, she’s gotten better and better, but she’s still not quite ready and to put her in the position before she’s ready will only hurt her in the long run. So, you know, she’s gotten there. I don’t think they need to push her back, and say, “Ah, this just isn’t working out” because there’s something major there. [37:07 onwards]
Jade Cargill Sends A Heartwarming Message To Naomi
For the better part of 2025, Jade Cargill was involved in a feud with Naomi.
Naomi was revealed as Cargill’s attacker during a November 2024 incident that kept her out of action until she returned at Elimination Chamber.
Their exchanges, while sometimes funny, grew darker with time.
At Evolution, Cargill defeated Naomi in a No Holds Barred match, with Bianca Belair serving as the referee.
On the August 18 episode of RAW, Naomi announced her pregnancy and relinquished the Women’s World Championship.
In a gesture that indicates Jade Cargill may have put their rivalry behind her, The Storm congratulated her rival.
