WWE Confirm Multiple Legends For Raw 30th Anniversary
With the 30th anniversary edition of Monday Night Raw now less than a week away, WWE has confirmed several Hall of Famers for the show.
On the 11th of January 1993, the wrestling world changed forever when WWE debuted Raw – uncut, uncooked, uncensored – from the Manhattan Center in New York City. On that first edition, there happened to be some stars that would go on to become icons in the company and some that very much wouldn’t.
The Steiner Brothers, Yokozuna, and Koko B.Ware were all in action on the show as was The Undertaker who headlined the very first Raw with Damien DeMento and Shawn Michaels who competed in the inaugural title match on the show as he defended his Intercontinental Championship against Max Moon.
Now with rumours of what legends and icons of the company will return for the 30th anniversary of the show, WWE has revealed a full list of stars that are scheduled to be there:
- Ric Flair
- Kurt Angle
- Shawn Michaels
- Ron Simmons
- Road Dogg
- Sean Waltman
- Teddy Long
- Jerry Lawler
- Bella Twins
- The Undertaker
Not mentioned on that list is Hulk Hogan who Ric Flair seemed to indicate might very well be present for the show on the 23rd of January.
With so many legends of the company set to be at the show, the rumour mill is surely going to head into overdrive with suggestions that Vince McMahon could pick this show to return to WWE television – even if only backstage.
