Ex-WWE Champion Boldly Rejects Jade Cargill’s Challenge

Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill recently challenged an ex-WWE Women’s United States Champion, but she rejected it.

Cargill made her WWE return on October 31 in dramatic fashion with a heel turn that shook up the women’s division. After initially appearing to support Tiffany Stratton by saving her from an attack, The Storm suddenly turned on Stratton, viciously attacking her and targeting her leg, which was already injured.

This segment set up a match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1, 2025, where Jade Cargill faced Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship.

Despite Stratton’s knee injury, she fought valiantly. However, Cargill dominated much of the match by focusing attacks on Stratton’s compromised knee. The climax of the bout saw Cargill hit her signature finishing move, the “Jaded,” securing a pinfall victory and capturing the WWE Women’s Championship for the first time in her singles career.

After Tiffany Stratton lost the championship belt, Chealse Green logged on to her X account to sympathize with her. The tweet caught Cargill’s attention, and she asked the ex-WWE Women’s United States Champion whether she was interested in becoming her next victim. Green boldly rejected the challenge.

Green told Cargill, “From the bottom of my heart, no.”

Jade Cargill Flaunts Her Victory

After Jade Cargill captured the WWE Women’s Championship, she logged onto her social media account to rub her victory on her haters’ faces. For a while now, some people had been criticizing her, and she took this opportunity to remind everyone why she’s one of the best in the business and demanded that they put some respect on her name.

She tweeted, “You didn’t believe in me — good.
Doubt looks great on you. Gold looks better on me. #GoldlsMyColor #andnew #WWEWomensChampion #ToldYallToPutSomeRespectOnMyName #ICamelPutTheSmackDownIConquered #thatbitch #newchampion”

Cargill’s championship victory was a long time coming, as she needed a much-deserved push in the company. According to some insider reports, WWE put a title on her to give her a Brock Lesnar-like persona from the old days. Additionally, Stratton needed a break because she was not in top physical shape.
