Worrying update on Seth Rollins amid WWE absence

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins has been out of action after suffering an injury at Crown Jewel.

He hurt his shoulder and had to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship.

Previously, his return timeline was set for the weeks ahead of WrestleMania 42.

Seth Rollins might not be on the WrestleMania 42 card

While original plans were to have The Visionary on the WrestleMania 42 card against Roman Reigns, it seems that the plans will change.

Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Seth Rollins is out for another couple of months. That being said, a title match is completely out of the question.

Rollins this week estimated being out three to four more months. WrestleMania is three-and-a-half months away. The last time I asked about Mania and Rollins it was that the option was still open but it was far from a sure thing.

He further noted that Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes can be the big match if the event.

Rollins vs. Reigns, at the time for the title, was the planned main event of one of the nights, but obviously that as a title match is out the window and it’s looking like Rhodes vs. Reigns as the big match of the show. [h/t: Ringside News]
