Will Ospreay Joins IMPACT Wrestling UK Tour

Will Ospreay is heading back to the UK with IMPACT Wrestling.

Will Ospreay is continuing his rise to the top of the wrestling world after a career-making weekend that saw him headline RevPro Wrestling’s 11th anniversary show by defeating Shingo Takagi before heading to Wembley Stadium in front of the biggest paid wrestling attendance in history to defeat Chris Jericho. Such is Ospreay’s star power, he was the only non-contracted AEW talent to wrestle on the show.

While Will Ospreay has hinted his time on the UK wrestling scene is coming to an end, the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion will be back in his native England with IMPACT Wrestling in October.

When is Will Ospreay coming back to England?

IMPACT Wrestling has announced that Will Ospreay will be part of its UK tour and will appear on its Newcastle show on October 27th, with the event now becoming Turning Point.

The press release also gives an insight into which other IMPACT Wrestling stars will be appearing on the show, including one that made his own stir at All In, Scotland’s own Grado:

“Pro wrestling megastar Will Ospreay will compete in Newcastle, England, on Friday night, October 27, at IMPACT Wrestling’s Turning Point – as part of the UK Invasion Tour.

“The Aerial Assassin” will join a roster that includes IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Alex Shelley, Moose, Eddie Edwards, Deonna Purrazzo, Kazarian, Brian Myers and fellow Brits Grado and Joe Hendry. IMPACT Hall of Famer Gail Kim also will be appearing.

“Ospreay is renowned as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time with more individual matches rated 5-stars and above by the Wrestling Observer than anyone in history. He has recently scored high-profile victories over Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada – and is the reigning IWGP United Kingdom Champion. “Ospreay will also wrestle at IMPACT Wrestling’s biggest event of the year, Bound For Glory, on Saturday night October 21, at Cicero Stadium in Chicago. These 2023 Ospeay matches for IMPACT Wrestling mark the first time in more than seven years he has appeared in an IMPACT ring. His last appearances were part of the 2016 IMPACT Wrestling UK Tour.”

IMPACT Wrestling’s UK tour also comprises a show in Glasgow on October 26th and two nights in Coventry on October 28th and 29th.
