Vince McMahon Has Creative Input On Major WWE Storyline
When it comes to the biggest name in WWE, Vince McMahon apparently still has creative input in what happens.
Prior to July 2022, Vince McMahon was the man in charge of WWE from a business standpoint and creatively as well. It was Vince McMahon’s vision that played out on our television screens going back to the early 1980s into the first few WrestleManias and everything else over a span of 40 years.
Due to his July 2022 “retirement” that only lasted five months, Vince stepped aside from WWE creatively with his son-in-law Paul “Triple H” Levesque taking over as the Chief Content Officer meaning he would run the WWE creatively.
While Vince McMahon is back in WWE offices as the Executive Chairman of the company, Triple H has assured WWE talent and staff that it is still his show creatively.
In an update on WWE’s creative team situation, the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer commented on his radio show that Vince does have creative input regarding the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship situation involving the champion Roman Reigns.
“It’s Paul Levesque (Triple H) and Vince. Vince does have input into this one. He definitely does. But still, in theory, it’s Paul’s decision.”
That comment was in reference to whatever decides to do in the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn at tonight’s Elimination Chamber event, which is in Sami’s hometown of Montreal.
It’s worth noting that Triple H praised Vince McMahon during the recent WWE conference call as a “tremendous asset” to WWE.
The lineup for WWE Elimination Chamber looks like this.
