Vince McMahon Enlists Top PR Firm, Company Experts In Crisis Management
Vince McMahon is working with Sitrick and Company.
As the legal battle between Vince McMahon and Janel Grant continues, the disgraced former WWE boss has enlisted the services of a prestigious public relations company.
The firm — headed up by Michael S. Sitrick told POST Wrestling and Wrestlenomics that “it is a relatively new relationship.”
Sitrick noted that his company “help build and restore reputations and we help get the truth out,” while emphasising they’re known for their work in crisis management.
Sitrick and Company have previously worked with the likes of Roy Disney, Don King, Kobe Bryant, Pepsi, McDonalds, Starbucks, and Hulk Hogan, and Steve Austin. Meanwhile, social media was quick to notice that the firm had also worked with Harvey Weinstein and R. Kelly.
Sitrick notes that his firm terminated its relationship with Weinstein after several months, and only worked with Kelly briefly before he moved elsewhere.
Vince McMahon Under Fire From Janel Grant’s Legal Team
On April 23rd, Vince McMahon and his legal team filed a “motion to compel arbitration of Plaintiff Janel Grant’s Complaint.”
However, in the filing McMahon and his legal team went on the offensive, describing Grant’s complaint as “salacious, false, and defamatory,” before referencing her “outrageous claims of sexual abuse.” The filing claimed the allegations are “pure fiction.”
In response, Janel Grant’s lawyers have filed a motion to strike what they call “inflammatory lies” made in McMahon’s statement.
