Two WWE Stars Join The Rock In Zootopia 2

The Rock WWE

WWE legend The Rock will lend his voice to a character in the upcoming Zootopia sequel.

Set for release on November 26, the People’s Champion will voice Zeke, an accident-prone dik-dik.

He was recently seen in The Smashing Machine, where he played former MMA great Mark Kerr. While the movie underperformed at the box office, his performance itself received widespread acclaim.

Zootopia 2 or Zootropolis 2 is the sequel to Zootopia, which was released in 2016, making over a billion dollars in revenue.

While The Rock was not a part of the first movie, he has been added to the voice cast. Along with him, two other WWE talents have also been cast in the movie, but their identities have been kept a secret.

Reportedly, they will voice two zebras, and their voices will be revealed at the film’s world premiere in Hollywood next week.

The synopsis for the animated flick reads as follows:

Rookie cops Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De’Snake arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before.

Ex-WWE Star Reveals When The Rock’s Wrestling Career Took Off

Despite being a third-generation wrestler, The Rock did not achieve instant success in WWE.

After being booed out of arenas for portraying a babyface, he turned on the fans by joining The Nation of Domination.

He found himself constantly at loggerheads with the faction’s leader, Farooq, whom he ultimately betrayed and kicked out.

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ken Shamrock recently appeared on Wrestling Live Online and revealed the exact moment when The Rock’s career took off.

The minute they got him out of the Nation, the minute they handed him the mic, stars went off. It was just unbelievable.I don’t think I’ve ever seen a transformation like that in my life that quick, where literally they just handed him the mic and game over.
