Trish Stratus Comments On SummerSlam Match Switch
Trish Stratus has called someone an idiot in regards to her SummerSlam match being switched.
It was expected that the rematch between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus would take place at ‘The Hottest Show Of The Summer’ in Ford Field this coming weekend.
However, it was announced on the 31st July edition of Monday Night Raw that it would actually take place on the red brand a couple of weeks later, on 14th August.
This switch means that the contest will actually take place in Canada, at the Canada Life Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In the words of Adam Pearce, that meant that Stratus would have the home field advantage going in to it.
However, in a tweet posted on 3rd August, Trish Stratus has called Pearce an idiot because she’s actually from Toronto rather than Winnipeg, and was checking if she was even available that day.
Checking to see if I’m even available on the 14th… And @ScrapDaddyAP, Winnipeg is NOT a home field advantage. I’m from Toronto, you idiot.
Why Is Stratus Vs. Lynch Not At SummerSlam?
A new report was released earlier today which explained why some of the matches which were expected to take place at SummerSlam have now been moved. Becky Lynch has also been quick to comment on the match taking place two weeks later rather than on a Premium Live Event.
In other news for the show, it has been confirmed which match will open the event, allowing one of the superstars to get on a plane out of the city as soon as they possibly can.
