Triple H Warned Against Trusting Huge WWE Name Backstage

The wrestling business today is more cutthroat than it ever was.

Other than promotions competing with each other, there are often reports of internal struggles eating a company from within.

Triple H was recently warned against trusting a backstage personality because WWE is a corporation at the end of the day, and there are different powers at play.

The personality in question is WWE President Nick Khan.

The World Wrestling Entertainment has had a tough 2025, with critics slamming it from every side, reasons ranging from wanton releases of talent to ticket pricing and digressive storylines.

On a recent episode of The Coach & Bro podcast, former WWE employees Jonathan Coachman and Tommy Carlucci discussed their love for the business, as Carlucci advised the Chief Content Officer to grow eyes on the back of his head.

I love that company, man. I like Triple H. Triple H is a great guy, man. I love working with him. I worked with him a lot. Such a ribber, funny. When him and the chairman would get together, it was hilarious, man. They were funny. I’m not trying to crap on this guy, but I think he’s in a really difficult spot, Coach, where he has to play the game with Nick Khan, Shapiro, and Ari Emanuel because I wouldn’t trust Khan as far as I can throw him if I’m Triple H. Has Triple H Become A Real-Life Villain?

Triple H became WWE’s Chief Content Officer in 2022. Since then, he has been the leader of the promotion and has various responsibilities, including the progression of storylines.

However, his attempt to become WWE’s face despite having retired from in-ring competition has seemingly irked many fans and critics.

One such critic is Stevie Richards. During a recent taping of his The Stevie Richards Show, the former WWE star accused Triple H of hogging the limelight from performers by appearing in promos and doing voiceovers.

It’s obvious he’s lived long enough to become the villain now,” he said.
