Triple H Accused Of Damaging Ex-WWE Stars’ Careers

Triple H WWE

Triple H is the WWE boss, but has he done more harm than good to the careers of several stars that he has shared the ring with?

Triple H rules the roost in WWE as the company’s Chief Content Officer, deciding the fate of the countless stars in the company. But the reality is, The Game has had a significant influence in the company for much of his time there.

In the early days of his time in the company, Triple H joined up with The Kliq, who maintained their power in the company through strength in numbers. Later, WWE became his family business when he married Vince McMahon’s daughter, Stephanie.

But his influence was not always used for good, according to someone formerly employed by the company.

Triple H Created A Country Club Vibe In WWE?

Speaking on The Stevie Richards Show, ex-WWE star Stevie Richards explained why he thinks Triple H has done more harm than good when it comes to the careers of several stars who have graced the company over the years:

With Hunter, this is the classic thing with a lot of top guys and a classic thing throughout eras that has not changed, even up until now. Hunter was the guy, and I watched this and I experienced this. Never a reason or anything like that, but if Vince [McMahon] asked or something, he’d be like “Are you sure?” Or a straight up like not yes. Not yes is a no. I’ve said it before, [he’d say] “Vince, are you sure about this guy?” Or what he would say is “This guy never drew. This guy can’t draw.”

The vague metaphoric type thing of the people who draw in wrestling are the ones pushed by the company, by the machine. You need that. So, I think he lent a lot more to do damage to a lot of careers or potential careers in WWE than the people he pushed. The people he pushed were usually the people in his own group, like Evolution, the Randy Ortons, the Batistas, obviously Ric Flair, and then the stuff with Shawn [Michaels].

If you notice, that was the beginning of this, as you called it before, this country club, ass kissing, circle jerk type thing where everybody is incestuously working each other and nobody else can get over.
