Triple H Refused To Induct Ex-WWE Talent Into Hall Of Fame

Triple H WWE boss

Triple H refused to induct an ex-WWE talent into the Hall of Fame, it has been revealed.

Ex-WWE writer Vince Russo made the revelation while appearing on Maven’s podcast, where they played ‘Nice or Mean.’

When Maven asked Russo his thoughts about The Cerebral Assassin, the 64-year-old lifted the “Nice” card.

Maven then asked him to tell the story about an email exchange, which is when it came to light that the WWE Chief Content Officer had refused to induct an ex-talent into the HOF.

I’ll tell you what it was. I was trying to get Jason Sensation in the WWE Hall of Fame, and I just wrote to Triple H. I said, “Bro, you’ll make this guy’s life. At least consider it.” Triple H was nice enough to get back to me, but yeah, Jason’s not in the Hall of Fame, so. [8:03 onwards]

To the uninitiated, WWE had hired Jason Sensation as an impressionist, who mocked Owen Hart and several others during an Attitude Era segment when D-Generation X feuded with the Nation of Domination.

Having grown tired of his mimicry, Hart attacked Sensation and put him in a Sharpshooter submission during a RAW episode.

Vince Russo Feels Conflicted About Triple H

During the chat, Vince Russo admitted to feeling conflicted about Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Russo was part of the writing team when Hunter won his first WWE Title in April 1999, but he left in October of that year.

Russo claimed that the Triple H he knew during his time as a writer in WWE was a sweetheart.

However, he claimed that he did not know the man who is married to Stephanie McMahon, stating that they might have had one email exchange in the last 25 years.
