Triple H congratulates the new champions crowned on WWE RAW.

Last week, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce booked The Judgment Day’s Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh to put their World Tag Team Championship on the line against the duo of AJ Styles and Dragon Lee on the October 20 edition of Monday Night Raw in Sacramento.

The bout was intense and closely contested, with both teams nearly clinching victory multiple times throughout the match. The Phenomenal One ultimately secured the win for his team by delivering his signature Styles Clash on Balor, securing the pinfall and ending The Judgment Day’s reign. This victory ended The Judgment Day’s impressive 112-day run as Tag Team Champions.

After their victory, the new champions joined Triple H backstage for a celebratory photoshoot. Triple H shared some of the clips from the backstage moment on his Instagram account and congratulated Styles and Lee on their Raw victory.

Triple H wrote, “Two different generations…one goal. Congratulations to the new World Tag Team Champions @AJStylesOrg & @dragonlee95. #WWERaw”

Triple H Makes Major Announcement

On the same show that saw AJ Styles and Dragon Lee become the new World Tag Team Champions, Seth Rollins was also stripped of his World Heavyweight Championship. Adam Pearce provided an update on The Visionary, saying that he’s been sidelined.

CM Punk was already first in line to get a title shot. WWE hosted a battle royal to determine Punk’s opponent, who would challenge him for the vacant championship. Jey Uso earned the title shot in the main event.

Following RAW, Triple H took to Twitter to announce that the two top contenders for the World Heavyweight Championship will battle each other for the title at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1.

“A new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned in Salt Lake City on November 1st. CM Punk vs. Jey Uso. #SNME,” HHH wrote.
