Triple H’s Interest In Re-Signing Ex-WWE Star Overblown

Triple H WWE

Triple H had little interest in re-signing a former WWE Superstar.

On November 6th it was reported that Sareee had signed with Sukeban, just days after it was reported that WWE held an interest in bringing her back. The star, known as Sarray in WWE, was only released by the company in March 2023.

While some saw this as a major snub for WWE, with Sareee known as one of the best female wrestlers in the world, it might not be quite that simple.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted he’d been told that WWE wasn’t really interested in a deal, describing previous reports as “overblown.”

“She signed with them [Sukeban.] The stuff about her in WWE, pretty overblown.

I mean from talking to people in WWE, it was like, they were not really talking about her”

Meltzer went on to explain that a potential return for Sareee didn’t really make sense.

“She wanted out.

Hey, look, they didn’t do anything with her. She sat there for the last six months of her contract and never did a thing. It’s like, whatever they didn’t see it in her. They gave her a really bad gimmick. Why would you want to go back? So anyway, that’s the situation with her.”

Triple H and WWE Interested In Major Star

Although Saree might not be heading back to WWE, the company is seemingly determined to land the signature of Giulia. It’s been reported that WWE has been interested in signing the star for several years, and is working to make sure they’ll be in pole position when she becomes a free agent in early 2024.

Giulia is the current NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion and is widely regarded as one of the best female wrestlers on the planet.
