Top IMPACT Wrestling Star To Become Free Agent Soon
IMPACT Wrestling might be fighting to keep one of its top stars heading into 2024.
Over the past three years, Deonna Purrazzo has been one of the most highly-decorated stars in IMPACT Wrestling but her time in the company could be nearing an end.
Fightful Select has reported that former Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo is heading towards free agency at the beginning of 2024. Purrazzo’s deal with the promotion expires at the end of 2023 and as of now, no extension has been agreed.
The 29-year-old has held the Knockouts Championship three times during her run in the company as well as holding the Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Chelsea Green as well as the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship and the Ring of Honor Women’s Championship.
Purrazzo made her one and only appearance on AEW television on the 4th of May 2022 edition of Dynamite where she lost her ROH Title to Mercedes Martinez.
Where could Deonna Purrazzo go after IMPACT Wrestling run?
The most likely destination for Purrazzo could be a return to WWE where she was previously part of the NXT brand. Purrazzo was released by the company in 2020 but she could return to potentially reform her previous team with Chelsea Green on the main roster.
AEW could be on Purrazzo’s radar as well should Tony Khan want to bolster his women’s division in that promotion or even Ring of Honor. There is every chance Purrazzo could yet re-sign with IMPACT Wrestling and look to reclaim her position at the top of the promotion.
