Tony Khan A “Stuttering Son Of A Billionaire” Says Fired AEW Talent

AEW Tony Khan

A fired AEW talent has lashed out again at the company, claiming he was fired during a mental breakdown and sharing his real thoughts on Tony Khan.

Kevin Kelly was fired by AEW after going public with his frustrations with the company and comments made by fellow AEW announcer Ian Riccaboni online. The former WWE and NJPW commentator vowed that the company “will get theirs” as he launched legal action alongside two other fired AEW talents.

On April 1st 2024 several AEW and ROH talents were released from their contracts. Among the releases were The Boys who regularly appear alongside Dalton Castle. Bret and Brandon Tate sometimes known as The Tate Twins have been part of Castle’s act on and off for almost a decade before being released.

Kevin Kelly and the Tates have launched legal action against AEW as a result of their terminations and it seems there’s no love lost between Kelly and Tony Khan.

Kevin Kelly Blasts Tony Khan

Kevin Kelly took to social media to wade into the controversy surrounding WWE announcer Corey Graves. Corey Graves missed NXT after publicly expressing his unhappiness with his role in the company.

Kelly seemed to push for a role with WWE as he noted he’d get Graves over if he was at the announce desk with him and replied to a fan with a less than complimentary description of the AEW owner while claiming the company fired him during a mental breakdown:

All I wanted to do was call wrestling. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d have to listen to a stuttering son of a billionaire feeding me lines and then correcting himself and telling me I was doing great. They waited until I had a mental breakdown to fire me.
