Tony Khan has made clear AEW’s agenda for the UK in 2024 and it seems it’s Wembley or bust for the company.
AEW is returning to Wembley Stadium for All In 2024 but fans hoping to see a taping of Dynamite, Collision, or Rampage are in for a disappointment.
Speaking to the BBC in the UK ahead of tickets going on sale for All In 2024, Tony Khan made clear that the only way to see AEW live in England in 2024 will be inside Wembley Stadium as he looks to drive ticket sales to the huge show:
“I can promise you…that AEW All In in London will be the only wrestling show we do in England this year.”
Tony Khan Taking Different Approach From WWE
It should be noted that Khan was not then asked about Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, or other countries in Europe as possible destinations for AEW shows in 2024. But the implication seems to be that the only show across the pond planned for 2024 is All In.
WWE will be heading to Europe for two huge shows in 2024 as well as their likely usual tours. WWE will hold Bash In Berlin and SmackDown in Germany on the week after All In. Backlash France will see WWE head to Lyon in May 2024 for another big night of action.
