Tony Khan has given an update on Bryan Danielson.

In the main event of the October 25th episode of AEW Dynamite, Danielson teamed with Claudio Castagnoli to defeat Kazuchika Okada and Orange Cassidy. The match was Okada’s first on Dynamite.

The rivalry between the American Dragon and Okada continues to simmer after Danielson defeated the star back at Forbidden Door. However, he did break his arm in the process.

Dynamite went off the air with AEW officials checking on Danielson after he took an Orange Punk, followed by a Rainmaker from Okada.

Posting on social media, Tony Khan wrote that Danielson was able to leave the ring under his own steam.

Thank you all who watched #AEWDynamite tonight! We had a great show with a great live crowd in Philly! After an Orange Punch/Rainmaker, thankfully @bryandanielson
walked out on his own power! If you missed tonight’s show, it’s on at 8pm PT/9pm MT/10pm CT/11pm ET NEXT on TBS West!

Bryan Danielson Accepts He’ll Never Be 100%

During his match with Okada at Forbidden Door, Danielson broke his forearm mid-way through the contest but wrestled the rest of the match as scheduled. The injury kept Danielson out of action until All Out when returned to face Ricky Starks in the aftermath of CM Punk’s firing.

Danielson has since revealed that he’s got a steel rod in his arm holding the previously broken bone together. Speaking in a recent interview, the Blackpool Combat Club star admitted neither he nor his arm will ever fully be 100% again.
