Tony Khan Reveals HonorClub Subscription Numbers

Tony Khan ROH

AEW and Ring of Honor owner Tony Khan has lifted the lid on how many people are subscribed to HonorClub, currently the only place to see ROH’s new weekly television show.

Ring of Honor weekly television returned on the 2nd of March as the first edition of the show now under the direction of Tony Khan aired exclusively on HonorClub.

Mark Briscoe picked up a big win on the show and there were outings for the likes of The Kingdom, Christopher Daniels, The Embassy, Madison Rayne, Willow Nightingale, and ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli as well. There was also New Japan Pro Wrestling representation on the show with Zack Sabre Jr. defending his NJPW World Television Title against Blake Christian.

At the post-AEW Revolution media scrum, Tony Khan discussed the difficulties of having such a deep roster and touted the return of weekly television under the ROH banner. Khan revealed that as of the 5th of March, 12,000 fans were paying $9.99 a month to subscribe to the HonorClub subscription service and called the number “as good” as it had ever been.

One AEW star that looks set to make ROH their permanent home is Eddie Kingston who appeared to quit AEW before going on to discuss the virtues of the ROH locker room. Kingston was at the first set of tapings for the new ROH show but his involvement is yet to air.
