Tony Khan Declines To Respond To MJF Labeling Him A ‘Mark’

Tony Khan AEW

After AEW Double or Nothing in late May, MJF went on a fiery rant on Dynamite – now famously known as MJF’s “pipe bomb” – where he labeled company owner and his boss, Tony Khan, a “f*cking mark.”

Khan was recently asked about it, however, he continues in his refusal to comment on the situation with the “Devil.”

During an interview with Ariel Helwani on BT Sport, the AEW owner would speak about a multitude of topics regarding his company, with one of them being about the “Salt of the Earth.”

After All Out, MJF made his return by staring down CM Punk, who just won the AEW World Championship over Jon Moxley, revealing himself to be the masked “Joker” who earned the status to be the No. 1 contender for the company’s top title after winning the Casino Ladder match.

When Helwani asked Tony Khan about MJF and his comments, Khan immediately pushed away:

“This is one of those things that I don’t want to talk about. But I do think I agree with everything you lead off with. I think he’s one of the best wrestlers in the world. It’s amazing how much he’s accomplished already at such a young age. He’s a great talent.”

Broadcasted on AEW Dynamite’s June 1 episode, the three-time Dynamite Diamond Ring winner begged for Tony Khan to fire him, even slapping the label of “f*cking mark” on his boss. That was the last time MJF appeared on television until his return at All Out.

Now a part of The Firm faction, who MFJ handpicked every member, the “Devil” was last in action on Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite where he scored a victory over Wheeler YUTA, his first match since Double or Nothing where he lost to Wardlow.
