The Undertaker Squashes Wild Rumour About WWE Career

The Undertaker WWE Hall of Fame

The Undertaker put an end to a strange rumour about how he was banned from a small state in the northern part of the United States.

For 30 years, Mark Callaway entered WWE fans as The Undertaker, who is perhaps the most legendary WWE performer of them all. These days, The Undertaker hosts a popular podcast called Six Feet Under where he tells interesting stories about his life and career.

On a recent episode of Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, Taker’s co-host Matt Lyda read a question from a listener who claimed they heard a rumor several times about how The Undertaker was banned from the state of Vermont for some reason.

The Undertaker reacted to it by joking as he called it: “The great pancake caper.”

As he continued, Taker made it clear that it wasn’t true.

“I’ve never heard that in my life [about being] banned from Vermont. I’m not banned from Vermont. I don’t live anywhere close to Vermont. I don’t go to Vermont.”

“I’m not banned…they can’t ban me from a state. I have done many things that are stupid but you can’t ban somebody from a state.”

Cody Rhodes Enjoyed His WrestleMania Moment With The Undertaker

At WrestleMania 40 Sunday in Philadelphia, Cody Rhodes got some help from WWE legends to fend off The Bloodline. That help allowed Cody to beat Roman Reigns to become the Undisputed WWE Champion. One of those legends was The Undertaker, who gave The Rock a Chokeslam, which led to Cody beating Reigns soon after.

Cody revealed that he had a special eye contact moment with The Undertaker after the Chokeslam was delivered.

“When he chokeslams The Rock, I got to make eye contact with him ever so briefly and I think he maybe wanted to have a moment, maybe not, I could be overestimating my importance to The Undertaker, but he winked at me. He winked at me, and then the lights went out.”

“It was like legitimate magic had happened. All the times he struck people with lighting, he did it. Just as he gave me a nice [winks], the lights went out. To me, it’s one of the most special things ever.”
