Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s daughter, Ava, has addressed reports of being involved in a car accident.

Viral images of Ava on social media showed her in a hospital bed, supported by tubes.

Ava, real name Simone Johnson, is the current WWE NXT general manager.

The social media images were AI-generated, but managed to grab the eyes of her followers and beyond, with the post captioned:

SAD NEWS: 15 minutes ago, Dwayne Johnson’s family heartbrokenly announced that Johnson’s daughter, Ava Raine, was in a serious car accident on her way home…

The 24-year-old took to her social media account to douse the fire that the post was unnecessarily spreading.

She reposted the image to her account with a message that showed she was none too impressed by it.

The Rock, whose face also appears on the images, has not responded.

Is The Rock Planning A Significant Career Move?

Since appearing in the lives of wrestling fans as Rocky Maivia in 1996, The Rock has added many feathers to his hat.

Not only is he regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers, but he is also one of the highest-paid Hollywood celebrities today.

Apart from that, he launched men’s skincare and grooming products called PAPATUI.

The Rock also sits on the TKO Group Holdings‘ board of directors.

After launching his Hollywood career, he has had sporadic appearances in the World Wrestling Entertainment.

His most recent appearance was during the 2025 Elimination Chamber PLE, where he sought an answer from Cody Rhodes about aligning with him.

While his “Final Boss” persona was widely appreciated, he disappeared from programming.

Ever since, reports have emerged about his multiple run-ins with WWE’s creative and the prevalence of a power struggle among the company’s higher-ups.

On the recent episode of The Coach & Bro podcast, former WWE employee Jonathan Coachman claimed that The Rock may be planning a significant career move.

I think long-term, [The Rock] does want to run the company. I think he would love to be president or CEO of WWE when he gets to a point where he’s tired of making movies.

The People’s Champion has never addressed any reports of the power struggle or stories about a potential rift with Triple H.

Meanwhile, the 53-year-old may be in the running for an Oscar nomination for his new movie. Read about it here.
