Why The Rock Won’t Publicly Admit He Hates WWE CCO Triple H

The Rock Triple H WWE

A popular speculation is that The Rock and Triple H have backstage heat.

As the Chief Content Officer of WWE, The Game leads the creative team and has the biggest say over which direction an angle should pursue.

On the other hand, The Brahma Bull is technically Triple H’s boss since he is a part of TKO’s Board of Directors. However, The Cerebral Assassin has shot down The Final Boss’s ideas in the past.

The Rock needs to stay away from any negative narrative about him

While speaking on Behind The Turnbuckle, Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo discussed why The Rock would allow anyone to bury him on WWE TV and not even show up for any of the premium live events.

Coachman revealed that The Final Boss will stay away from negative notions and will not indulge in any talks about having backstage heat with Triple H, regardless of how much it is discussed within the industry.

The Rock is so consumed with being a baby face, and rightfully so, because he has so many irons in the water. He’s a businessman. He’s got a million businesses. He can’t afford to have negative stuff out there about him. So, when he doesn’t do that and allows you to bury himself like we’ve talked on this show for 6 months, there is heat between Triple H and Rock, but he has not alluded to it. If he would have and gone, you know, done an interview and been like, “Yeah, I hate Triple H. I’ve hated Triple H for 25 years.” that would make the Rock look bad in some people’s eyes. Yeah. So, he just lets us talk about it without addressing any of it.

If The Rock does want to replace Triple H as the Chief Content Officer, he needs to have a strategy in place rather than making a hasty decision about it.
