The Rock Hits Back At Recent Criticism

The Rock has some words for “standards and practices.”

On the March 15th episode of SmackDown, The Rock concert made a popular return, although the songs on display showed little love for fan-favourite Cody Rhodes.

However, it seems not everyone was impressed. Writing on Instagram, the star quoted one of his lines on SmackDown, before stating that Networks and “standards and practices” had issues with his language.

The Rock Gets Support From NXT Star

The comments come after it was reported some within WWE are growing increasingly frustrated with The Rock’s popular social media promos. The report explained that some stars feel that he should be “playing by the same rules” as everyone else, despite his incredible star power.

Despite this, the WWE legend found support from NXT star Dijak who praised his skills as a “sh*t-talker.”

As well as returning to the ring at WrestleMania, it’s been reported that the Hollywood megastar will induct his grandmother into the WWE Hall of Fame. The official announcement concerning her induction is expected in the coming days. Lia Maivia will join Paul Heyman the US Express, Muhammad Ali, and Thunderbolt Patterson in the class of 2024.
