The Rock continues to raise eyebrows.

On the March 8th episode of SmackDown, The Rock and Roman Reigns came face to face with Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. In an electric main event segment, Rollins and Rhodes agreed to face Rock and Reigns on the first night of WrestleMania 40.

However, that was only part of the story. The two sides traded insults with Roman Reigns coming under fire on social media for referring to Rollins as a “cross-dresser,” while The Rock said Rhodes was a “mistake” pointing to the age gap between the star and his siblings. The line caused the American Nightmare to snap, and he slapped Rock in the face as the show went off the air.

The comment by The Rock caused a stir on social media, and Amanda Huber got in on the action writing “Talking about an age gap when your own daughters are almost 20 years apart is a weird choice….”

Not content to let the comment go, The Rock’s eldest daughter Ava hit back sharing a GIF with the line “what a mark.”

The Rock Influencing WWE Hall Of Fame

While his impact on WWE television has been obvious, it’s been reported that The Rock’s influence backstage is also growing. According to a new report, the third-generation star is part of the decision-making process concerning the WWE Hall of Fame.

For the first time, Vince McMahon will not be involved in the WWE Hall of Fame after being forced to resign from the TKO Group board. Furthermore, TKO President Mark Shapiro recently reiterated that McMahon won’t be back.

It’s been announced that Muhammad Ali will join Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano, and the US Express in the class of 2024.
