The Miz Appears On Crutches As He Makes Major Announcement

The Miz has a major announcement for fans.

The former WWE Champion shared a video on social media, though, appearing on crutches while informing his followers to tune in to The Rich Eisen Show.

Real name Mike Mizanin, the 44-year-old WWE veteran, is scheduled to host the show, but has now thrown a curveball with his support sticks.

Some comments below the post had fans sarcastically asking if this was “a work.”

These fans were referencing Seth Rollins’ ruse, which unfolded at Night 1 of SummerSlam.

Rollins was reportedly injured, missing various WWE tapings, only to show up at the premium live event to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on CM Punk to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

The Miz, on the other hand, appeared in top condition during a backstage segment on the August 8 episode of SmackDown.

Mizanin was seen scheming a plot before running into his mentee, Carmelo Hayes. It was kind of a reunion between the two, as the two-time WWE Champion was missing from action for a few weeks.

The Miz Set To Host American Gladiators

The Miz has built an empire for himself outside the World Wrestling Entertainment.

He is not new to TV or the silver screen, having appeared in numerous movies and shows. He was also the star of Miz & Mrs., a reality TV show with his wife, Maryse.

The show also featured various WWE stars, some of whom had recurring roles.

Mizanin was reported to host the upcoming reboot of the classic ’90s TV show American Gladiators.

General Manager of MGM Alternative, Evolution Media, and Big Fish Entertainment, Barry Poznick, expressed his excitement about having The Miz host the show.

We’re excited to officially welcome WWE Superstar Mike ‘The Miz’ Mizanin to the American Gladiators Family. He’s the perfect host for the new era of this iconic franchise. The U.S. reboot, combined with our epic success in the U.K., our Live Nation Tour and the launch of our 24/7 Gladiators FAST channel — this isn’t just a comeback, it’s a cultural revival. Fans, old and new, are going to love this evolution in sports entertainment.
