Report Makes Surprising Claim About Gunther Vs. John Cena
More details about John Cena’s last match have been revealed.
On December 13, John Cena will wrestle the last match of a career that made him one of the biggest stars pro wrestling has ever seen.
Since signing with WWE as a developmental talent in 2000, Cena has become one of the most successful Superstars in history, notching up 17 World Championship wins along the way. But at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C., against Gunther, that will all come to an end.
But it seems that the show might go off a little differently than some fans are expecting.
Update On Gunther vs. John Cena
According to a new report from Bryan Alvarez, there’s no set runtime for Saturday Night’s Main Event, meaning there’ll be plenty of time for Cena to say goodbye. However, much more surprisingly, Cena’s match with Gunther is expected to open the show.
“At this point, there is no set runtime for Saturday Night’s Main Event, so everyone will get all the time they need. Cena vs. Gunther is currently scheduled to open the show and Cena will get as much time as he wants.”
Elsewhere on the show, Sol Ruca will face Bayley, Oba Femi will battle Cody Rhodes, and AJ Styles & Dragon Lee will defend the World Tag Team Championship against Leon Slater and Je’Von Evans.
