Sting Stuns The Elite At AEW All In

Jack Perry might be leaving Wembley Stadium with his TNT Title but he had more than Darby Allin to contend with as Sting made his first AEW appearance since his retirement.

Darby Allin has his sights set on championship gold in AEW and has two shots to get it coming in the near future. Allin forced Matthew Jackson to give him a TNT Title match against Jack Perry at Blood & Guts as he threatened to set Perry on fire once again as he did during Anarchy In The Arena.

At All In, Allin and Perry went all out in a Coffin Match for the TNT Title moments after Mercedes Mone retained her TBS Championship against Britt Baker.

Things were wild before the bell even rang as Darby Allin emerged with thumbtacks glued to his face for the bout. Jack Perry filled Wembley with “Oh cry me a river” chants as Perry emptied real glass on the ring one year after his infamous backstage fight in the venue with CM Punk.

In a 100 mph match, Perry found the upper hand when he bound Allin’s hands together before doing the same with his feet by using Allin’s own belt. After throwing Allin through tables from the stage, Jack Perry dragged Allin to ringside in a bodybag before winning the bout by throwing him in the coffin to retain his gold.

After the match, The Young Bucks emerged with a can of gasoline to set Darby Allin alight but Sting made a shock appearance to chase The Elite off and come to the rescue of his former tag team partner and dropping The Bucks with a double Scorpion Death Drop.

Darby Allin won the Royal Rampage match to claim a shot at the AEW World Championship at Grand Slam in September. That match will likely be against either Swerve Strickland or Bryan Danielson who clash for that title at All In.
