Stephanie McMahon recently got candid about her WWE exit and life after that.

While hosting Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena on her What’s Your Story? With Steph McMahon podcast, the Billion Dollar Princess explained that she was content with her life.

In 2022, Vince McMahon, Stephanie’s father, stepped down from his post amid accusations of sexual misconduct and hush money payments to victims.

In July of the same year, Stephanie was named the permanent Chairwoman and co-CEO alongside Nick Khan.

However, in 2023, Vince allegedly forced his way into the WWE Board of Directors.

Subsequently, Stephanie McMahon announced her controversial exit from the company. Having been a beloved member backstage, she left the promotion with more questions than answers.

While remaining detached from any company-related decision-making, Stephanie still makes sporadic appearances, her last being at the all-women’s Evolution PLE.

She is also focused on building her own brand, and currently has an ESPN+ show called Stephanie’s Places in addition to the What’s Your Story podcast.

Stephanie McMahon Found Something Meaningful After WWE Exit

On her podcast with John Cena as the guest, Stephanie McMahon discussed a variety of topics.

While the aim was to get more out of Cena, she ended up sharing an insight into her life after her WWE exit as well.

I started going through all this stuff in the company and I realized there is nothing more important to me than my family, than my husband and my kids. And that’s what matters most. And I want to give as much time as I possibly can. I’ve given everything I…I possibly have to the business, you know, and my whole life and I wanted to give back to them. I knew what mattered and I know what matters now. [31:49 onwards]
