Shinsuke Nakamura Reveals His Target On WWE Raw

Shinsuke Nakamura is looking to play spoiler as he revealed the target of his threats on WWE Monday Night Raw.

For weeks Shinsuke Nakamura has issued vague threats to an unnamed person, with many thinking the Japanese star was hinting at CM Punk’s return to WWE.

While CM Punk stunned the world at Survivor Series by coming back to WWE, it turns out Nakamura wasn’t aware of the closely guarded secret surrounding Punk but rather had his sights set on someone else.

Shinsuke Nakamura Attacks Cody Rhodes On WWE Raw

Cody Rhodes announced his entry into the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble on WWE Raw in Nashville as he continued to fly high following his win at WarGames. However, Rhodes soon came crashing down.

Shinsuke Nakamura appeared on the screen and told Rhodes that he needed him to set him free and that he would bring chaos to Rhodes. Rhodes didn’t have long to wait for that as he turned round and came face to face with Nakamura who sprayed Rhodes in the face with red mist.

The only time Rhodes and Nakamura have shared a ring in the past was back in August 2023 when the two stars teamed with Seth Rollins to defeat The Judgment Day. Nakamura made his in-ring WWE debut just six weeks before Rhodes originally left the company back in 2016.
