At Wrestlepalooza, Stephanie McMahon was revealed as the first inductee into the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class.

The announcement came from The Undertaker, who turned up in his American Badass avatar.

The segment was featured before the main event match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre.

The Billion Dollar Princess seemingly thought Taker was coming over to offer birthday wishes in advance, but the revelation that she was going to be inducted came as a shock to her.

Fans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis cheered the announcement. The internet, however, remains split.

Shane McMahon, who is Stephanie McMahon’s older brother, also spent a considerable time in the Stamford promotion, donning different hats.

His son, Declan, took to X to advocate for his father’s addition into the Hall of Fame, tweeting:

Put Shane McMahon in the Hall of Fame!

Stephanie McMahon’s Emotional Reaction To Hall Of Fame Announcement

According to several reports, Stephanie McMahon had no idea about her HOF induction.

Her reaction to The Undertaker was of pure surprise, and this could be seen in a backstage video shared by her husband, Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

In the video, Stephanie could be seen approaching Triple H, who jokingly puts up his fists in a defensive boxing position, and indication that it was a surprise.

Stephanie McMahon is then seen hugging Triple H, who tells her that she deserves the accolade.

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry reposted Shane McMahon’s son’s tweet, and commented that he wants to induct him.

WWE Wrestlepalooza was the Stamford promotion’s first premium live event on ESPN in the United States. Here are its results.
