Seth Rollins Calls WWE Hall Of Famer “One Of The Greatest Pro Wrestlers Of All Time”
Seth Rollins believes a currently active Hall of Famer is one of the greatest ever despite not being the best on the mic.
During his decade in WWE, Seth Rollins has clashed with many of the best the company has to offer. While speaking to his old foe Logan Paul on his Impaulsive podcast, the World Heavyweight Champion spoke about one of those greats, Rey Mysterio.
Rollins is in disbelief about how well Mysterio still wrestles despite approaching 50 years old.
“He is just unreal. I mean, that guy, I think he turns 50 soon. And like what are we talking about? Watch him in the ring. It’s unbelievable, he hasn’t aged a day.”
He went on to say that, although he’s not “a great promo” like The Rock and Steve Austin, the totality of Mysterio’s career and his influence makes him one of the all-time greats.
“He’s not like a great promo, he’s not like a, you know, a Rock an Austin a Hogan. Like he’s not on that [level].
“But he is, if you look at the totality of his career and the influence that he’s had for over generations, I say one the greatest.
“You could arguably include him on a Mount Rushmore, if you want to go that far.”
Rollins and Mysterio have met many times in their careers, most recently facing off on the September 26th, 2022 edition of Raw. Rollins was able to win that encounter after Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley got involved to cost the elder Mysterio the match.
