Seth Rollins May Call Out Partner Over Disloyalty After WWE Crown Jewel
Being Seth Rollins is not easy these days.
The WWE World Heavyweight Champion has been seen going through a range of emotions as his match date with Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel draws near.
Both wrestlers will compete for the Crown Jewel Championship in Perth, Australia, on October 11.
Rhodes opened the September 22 taping of RAW before being met in the ring by Rollins. They exchanged jabs when Cody reminded him of their head-to-head record in singles matches, which stands at 3-0 in Rhodes’ favor.
The segment seemingly left Seth Rollins deeply upset and he has not been the same ever since.
Their segment on the subsequent RAW episode was about ‘friendship,’ despite the equation never being established between both men, other than them teaming up at Night 1 of WrestleMania XL.
On the October 3 episode of SmackDown, Rollins inserted himself into a situation he was warned against by Paul Heyman, resulting in it backfiring.
After the recent setbacks, The Visionary began questioning his future, asking Heyman what would happen if he lost to Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel.
Not one to mince words, ‘The Oracle’ replied that Rollins would lose the trust of his stablemates and would even lead to Heyman questioning his own decision to align with Rollins instead of Roman Reigns.
Seth Rollins Could Call Out Paul Heyman’s Disloyalty
Sam Roberts of NotSam Wrestling discussed an angle where Seth Rollins beats Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel.
On a recent episode of his podcast, the WWE personality speculated that the victory would force Rollins to question Heyman’s loyalty towards him.
If Seth Rollins beats Cody Rhodes, then what’s to stop Seth the next night on RAW from accusing Paul Heyman of being disloyal? Like all of that energy can all of a sudden shift when Seth Rollins is no longer worried about losing to Cody, and he gets to look at Paul Heyman and say, “You were gonna leave me. If I hadn’t won, you were gonna leave me. You are disloyal. You are not the person I thought you were.” [From 9:57 onwards]
