Saraya Shares Heartbreaking Personal Update: “My Boy Is Very Sick”

Saraya

Former AEW star Saraya has shared an emotional personal update.

She was signed with the Florida promotion from 2022 to 2025, during which she became the AEW Women’s World Champion once.

Her departure was sudden and came as a surprise to the fans of the Tony Khan promotion, but she clarified that it was an amicable decision and no one was left bitter.

Before AEW, Saraya was signed with WWE, where she wrestled under the name Paige.

During her eleven-year run with the company, she gained huge popularity as the underdog Divas Champion, a title she won twice.

She initially called the curtain on her career in 2017 after suffering a neck injury. For the subsequent years, she had various non-wrestling roles before leaving in June 2022.

Saraya’s departure from AEW sparked considerable excitement among WWE fans, who urged Chief Content Officer Triple to negotiate a deal to bring her back to the promotion.

The buzz was too much for the former Divas Champion to ignore.

During an appearance on the Hall of Fame podcast, she was asked about a potential return to the Stamford promotion.

The British star did not deviate from the question, expressing her gratitude towards the company for her initial run.

She also stated that if WWE had something exciting for her, she would be fully on board.
