Samoa Joe Names AEW Stars He Wants To Wrestle

Samoa Joe has revealed an intriguing list of AEW Stars he wants to step into the ring with.

The veteran submission specialist, who recently relinquished the ROH World Television Championship, has his eyes set firmly on the AEW World Championship and has already set out a list of potential opponents should he capture the coveted gold.

Speaking to Niko Exxtra, Samoa Joe highlighted the likes of Swerve Strickland and Adam Page as men on his most wanted list:

“I think when you look at the competitors, especially as of late, I think you have to look at a guy like Swerve Strickland whose game has been amplified tremendously the past few months and has really stepped up in a way that a lot of people didn’t even think he was possible of doing.

You’ve got guys like Hangman Adam Page, who has had a rough year, but in his own right, is a guy that wants to get in there and have a scrap and get into a fight every night.

You go back to guys like Keith Lee, you know, a tremendously tough opponent last time, and you know this is a guy that I see rumbling through people. Powerhouse Hobbs, I’ll give Wardlow another go. I mean, there’s so much talent that wants a piece; you know I’ll be more than happy to dish it out.”

Samoa Joe Set For AEW World Championship Challenge

After stepping in to help MJF defend the ROH Tag Team Championship in place of Adam Cole at Full Gear, Samoa Joe demanded a World Championship shot in exchange for his assistance.

His request was reluctantly granted by MJF and the pair are now set to meet at Worlds End on December 30th.
