Ric Flair entrance AEW Collision

Ric Flair confirmed that he is dealing with skin cancer for a second time, and he’ll begin treatment soon.

It was in early May when Ric Flair went on social media to deny that he was dealing with cancer. The reason it came to light is that Flair’s son-in-law, Conrad Thompson, mentioned on X that people were making fun of apparent cuts on Flair’s head.

People is reporting that the 76-year-old Flair is dealing with skin cancer and he made a statement about it.

“It’s the second time in three years that I’ve been dealing with skin cancer. I will be undergoing treatment next week.”

The People article referred to Flair as a “WWE star.” Flair is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, but he’s currently under contract to AEW, although he rarely appears on their television.

Ric Flair appeared on the May 17th episode of AEW Collision in Chicago as a tribute to his late friend, the Football Hall of Famer and WCW legend Steve “Mongo” McMichael. It was Flair’s first appearance on AEW television in over a year.

“I Try To Be Nice To Everybody” – Ric Flair

It was an interesting week for Ric Flair since he went on social media to say that Jim Ross was attention-seeking after mentioning his cancer diagnosis leading to surgery. Flair would go on to say that he was joking around. Flair’s comments angered many people, including wrestling legend “Dirty” Dutch Mantel, who advised Flair to refrain from discussing it.

In a social media post on June 4th, Ric Flair stated how he tries to be nice while also commenting on his wealth.

I Try To Be Nice To Everybody. God Only Knows That I’ve Spent More Money On Spilt Liquor In One Year Than People Have In A Lifetime. I Tried Being Nice, And This Is My Last Message To Everyone. I’ve Got More Money Than I’ve Got Time. Go F Yourself Haters. No Comment Needed. Live With It! Actually Learn To Love It! Get Back To Me Again When You Make 3 Million Dollars A Year At The Age Of 76. That’s What FAMOUS Gets. And By The Way, I Don’t Recognize Anyone In This Conversation Who Is Famous.

In the last decade, Ric Flair has had several health scares and nearly lost his life in 2017, but he was able to get through it.

Flair is also continuing to meet wrestling fans at singings, including a scheduled appearance in St. Augustine, Florida on June 6th.

Everybody here at TJRWrestling wishes the legendary Ric Flair all the best in his battle with skin cancer.
