Rhea Ripley Jabs Rey Mysterio After WWE SmackDown Betrayal

WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has jumped at the chance to take a jab at Rey Mysterio after he was attacked on SmackDown.

Rhea Ripley and Rey Mysterio have history, to say the least with The Judgment Day’s Eradicator proving pivotal in getting Dominik Mysterio to betray his own father at Clash at the Castle in 2022. Since then Ripley and her Dom Dom have visited the WWE Hall of Famer’s family home at the holidays, leading to the younger Mysterio’s short-lived stint in jail that has lived with him ever since.

On SmackDown in Columbus, Ohio Rey Mysterio found himself in the middle of a serious LWO disagreement as Carlito blamed Santos Escobar for Mysterio losing the US Championship at Crown Jewel. Logan Paul defeated Rey Mysterio to claim his first WWE gold when Escobar left a pair of brass knuckles within easy reach of The Maverick who used them to win.

After Bobby Lashley defeated Carlito, Lashley and The Street Profits took the fight to the LWO. Santos Escobar appeared but turned on Rey Mysterio and attacked him.

Now Rhea Ripley has had her say on the attack on social media, suggesting that maybe the former WWE Champion is the problem:

At this point @reymysterio… I think YOU might be the problem

Logan Paul also gave his thoughts on the situation as he noted that he “totally agreed” with Ripley’s assessment of things.
