Rhea Ripley Breaks Character To Address Naomi’s Cash-In

Rhea RIpley WWE mic

Rhea Ripley is not letting the WWE Evolution result dampen her spirits.

Ripley challenged Iyo Sky for the Women’s World Championship at the all-women’s PLE, in what would turn out to be an excellent bout.

While the match was a traditional singles match, the action moved into the audience during the closing minutes after the referee was inadvertently taken out by an Iyo Sky drop kick off the ropes.

Just as Ripley seemed to have gotten the upper hand, Sky hit her with the Spanish Fly, taking out her opponent and herself.

As the pair lay in the ring, Naomi’s music hit. She cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase, turning the one-on-one clash into a triple threat match.

Naomi then threw Ripley out of the ring and hit Sky with the Split-Legged Moonsault for a 1-2-3.

As the camera panned on the Aussie superstar, she looked aghast at having lost another title opportunity.

Rhea Ripley recently discussed Naomi’s title win when she appeared on the My Mom’s Basement With Robbie Fox podcast.

Naomi, what a moment?! I know. I mean, I’m mad about it but I’m happy for her, she said.

Rhea Ripley has good reasons not to mourn her recent loss, as she will get another title shot at SummerSlam.

Triple Threat Match Featuring Rhea Ripley Announced For SummerSlam

Naomi opened the July 14th RAW show, but was confronted by Ripley and Iyo Sky.

As the trio exchanged words, manager Adam Pearce had the perfect solution that would allow the women to settle their issues.

He made a triple threat match for the Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam, with Naomi defending her belt against Ripley and Sky.

Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley has yet to beat Iyo Sky in a singles match.
