Randy Orton Escapes Surprise Attack At Non-WWE Event

Randy Orton

Sneaking up on Randy Orton is not easy.

The 14-time World Champion was present at a non-WWE event, where he prevented a potential attack by an internet celebrity.

Orton attended IShowSpeed’s Los Angeles premier of Speed Goes Pro with his wife, Kim Orton.

In a video shared online, the 45-year-old is seen chatting with Sheamus and Drew McIntyre, when Speed approaches him in attack position to hit the RKO.

Randy Orton then turns around, as they both hug it out, with the wrestler congratulating the latter on the release of his first episode of Speed Goes Pro on his YouTube channel featuring NFL legend Tom Brady.

Orton and Speed have shared a brief segment in the WWE, too, when during his WrestleMania 40 match against Logan Paul, he RKO’d Speed, who was dressed as Paul’s Prime mascot.

Randy Orton’s Wife Hits Out At WWE

Randy Orton’s wife recently called out the Stamford promotion for not featuring him in yet another milestone event, as he missed WWE’s first premium live event on ESPN, Wrestlepalooza.

After feeling disappointed by Orton’s treatment, a fan took to Instagram to share the list of high-profile events he missed in WWE, including the RAW and SmackDown 25th Anniversaries and the RAW Netflix premiere.

The fan said that it was disrespectful for someone of The Viper’s stature to be benched during such shows.

Kim Orton came across the post and replied, “You ain’t wrong πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ” under it.

Randy Orton recently came to the aid of Cody Rhodes after he was attacked by The Vision duo of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

Orton and Rhodes will team up to face Breakker and Reed on the upcoming SmackDown episode.
