NJPW Returning To The UK
NJPW is set for its big return to the UK.
The stars of New Japan Pro-Wrestling will be returning to the United Kingdom for the first time since late 2022 with the promotion announcing Royal Quest III.
The show will take place in the original venue of Royal Quest in 2019, the Copper Box Arena in London, England on the 14th of October. Pre-sale tickets for the event are available to sign up for and will go on sale on August 29th.
The first Copper Box Arena show was headlined by Kazuchika Okada retaining his IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Minoru Suzuki and UK fans will no doubt be hoping both men are set for a return. The second Royal Quest shows were held over two days in 2022 and featured AEW Tag Team Champions FTR who were then IWGP Tag Team Champions.

Which NJPW stars might be in the UK?
Fans in London will no doubt hope to see Essex boy Will Ospreay in action. Ospreay all but marked his card for the event when he transformed the IWGP US Championship into the IWGP United Kingdom Title.
Tetsuya Naito is on the road to Wrestle Kingdom in 2024 after coming out on top in the G1 Climax Tournament for the third time in his career. Whether or not the leader of Los Ingbernables de Japon make his presence felt in the UK before his eventual showdown in the Tokyo Dome for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title remains to be seen.
