Nia Jax and Roxanne Perez have carved out their own slices of WWE history as they set new records in the women’s Royal Rumble.

The 30-women match kicked off the 2025 Royal Rumble with Liv Morgan and IYO SKY starting the match. They were soon joined by former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez who drew number three and she was in for a long night.

Bayley had held the record for the longest time spent in a women’s Rumble match after her success in 2024 but Roxanne Perez smashed that record. Bayley’s time was 1 hour 3 minutes and 3 seconds but Roxanne Perez lasted until the final two competitors and broke Bayley’s record with a time of 1 hour 7 minutes and 47 seconds. Charlotte Flair last eliminated Roxanne Perez to claim the victory. In doing so, Flair claimed her own piece of WWE history as she became the first woman to win two Rumble matches.

Nia Jax Dominates The Field

Roxanne Perez was not the only one to set a record in the Rumble match as number 29 entrant Nia Jax made her appearance count. Nia Jax claimed the record for most eliminations in a single women’s Rumble match with 9 as she dispatched almost a third of the field by herself.

In doing so, Jax has now surpassed Rhea Ripley’s records for most eliminations in a women’s Royal Rumble overall.
