New WWE Tag Team Confirmed

Following the 7th of November edition of NXT, it looks very much like a new tag team has arrived in WWE.

For the past few weeks, eagle-eyed viewers of NXT have noticed a burgeoning friendship between Boa and Dante Chen as they have been seen in the background deep in conversations.

Now on the 7th of November edition of NXT, Dante Chen was spotted sporting a whole new look as he donned black and white face paint similar to that of Boa’s seemingly indicating that the pair were now a fully fledged team.

Boa and Chen have teamed with each other over the past several months on NXT live events and made it to TV for the first time as a pairing on NXT Level Up in October where they lost to Edris Enofe and Malik Blade. With the team now looking more fully formed, Chen and Boa will surely be looking for success in NXT in the future.

What else happened on WWE NXT?

The first two NXT stars made it through to their respective Iron Survivor Challenge matches at Deadline in December. Former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton defeated Fallon Henley to progress to the women’s match while Dijak saw off Tyler Bate to qualify for the men’s.

More WWE Hall of Famers including Jerry Lawler will be announcing the other qualification matches in the coming weeks.

It was also a big night for Von Wagner as he took on Bron Breakker in a heated grudge match. This was Von Wagner’s first match back in a WWE ring since apparently suffering a fractured skull at the hands of Breakker.
