New information coming out on Bray Wyatt’s sudden passing suggests that an important device assigned to him by his doctors wasn’t close by when he died.

According to an exclusive report by TMZ, Bray Wyatt suffered a bout of COVID earlier this year, which led to complications that affected his heart. Specifically, the report indicates it affected “the lower part of his heart”

As a result, Wyatt was told by doctors to keep an external heart defibrillator on hand. However, on the eve of his death, Wyatt had left it in his car.

At some point on Thursday, Wyatt went to take a nap but unfortunately he never woke up. It was only after his alarm had been going off for about an hour that his fiancé JoJo Offerman felt something was amiss and went to check on him.

When she did, she saw that he wasn’t breathing and was turning blue. She then called paramedics but they weren’t able to resuscitate Wyatt and he was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Wrestling world continues to mourn and tribute Bray Wyatt and others

In the days since his passing, there has been an outpouring of support for Wyatt and his family. Many of his closest friends and former rivals have posted tributes online, fans have sung his most famous songs and catchphrases at concerts, and WWE both dedicated an entire episode of SmackDown to him and promised to donate proceeds of his merchandise sales to his family.

The past seven days has seen a quick succession of wrestling personalities passing away with Terry Funk passing away on August 23rd, Wyatt on the 24th, and one-time RAW guest Host Bob Barker passing away on the 26th.
