New AEW Signing Breaks Silence After Deal Made Official
AEW has made an exciting new signing.
It’s been confirmed that Mike Bailey has officially signed with AEW. Bailey’s arrival was confirmed during the February 22 episode of Collision with a short vignette telling fans he was “coming soon.”
This was followed by a report from Fightful Select that noted Bailey had signed a “multi-year” deal with the company.
Bailey had been a free agent since his deal with TNA Wrestling ran out at the end of 2024. The star had actually finished up with the company at the end of November, but he remained under contract. The former X-Division Champion’s All Elite debut was delayed due to visa issues, but these are now in the “approval process.”
According to an agent used by Bailey to broker the deal, there had also been interest from WWE.

My biggest accomplishment in life has been making every year my best year yet, and I am extremely excited to keep that going in @AEW ! #AEWCollision

Elsewhere on Collision, two more matches were made official for AEW Revolution on March 9.
The show started with a bang as Mariah May brutally assaulted Toni Storm before it was announced the pair would meet for a third time at Revolution. Later, Kyle Fletcher officially accepted Will Ospreay’s challenge to a Steel Cage Match at the event.
Ospreay and Kenny Omega defeated Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita in tag team action at Grand Slam Australia.
