Naomi’s WWE Future Predicted After Pregnancy Announcement

Naomi has remained WWE’s star attraction since her heel turn post-Elimination Chamber.

Her attire change, which included the usage of caution tape, became her signature along with her promo delivery and sadistic laugh.

After winning the Women’s Money in the Bank match, she shocked the wrestling world by capturing the Women’s World Championship at WWE Evolution.

She, then, successfully defended it at SummerSlam in a 3-way match against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley, whom she pinned.

Naomi was scheduled to face Sky on the August 11 episode of RAW, but it was called off just before the taping began.

On last week’s episode of the red brand, the 37-year-old revealed that she was expecting her first child with WWE star and husband Jimmy Uso.

The news also forced WWE to alter plans for Clash in Paris, where she was set to defend her belt against Stephanie Vaquer.

During the latest episode of her Eyes Up Here podcast, ECW legend Francine predicted Naomi’s future in wrestling.

I think she’s probably in very good graces with the company and she’ll take her maternity leave and she’ll come back, and why can’t she get that belt down the road? I’m sure she could and have a very long, healthy run with it. [6:44 onwards]

Francine Goes Off On Co-Host During Naomi’s Pregnancy Discussion

While addressing the WWE Universe, Naomi played a clip from Stephanie McMahon’s podcast, where she was a guest with Jimmy Uso.

It was on the podcast where Uso revealed his wife’s pregnancy.

After the show, WWE’s social media pages shared multiple videos of the reaction backstage.

During the podcast, Francine’s co-host, Chad, criticized the move, which led to The Queen of Extreme retaliating.

Chad: I also think that we shouldn’t have to, like, be…I just don’t think we need to hear all this stuff. I think it should have done just done behind closed doors. Vacate the belt, strip her of the belt, do an angle, she gets taken out backstage, hold the belt up. I don’t think we need all these other histrionics. And then, videos of them hugging Triple H, and then there’s this whole big reveal on a Stephanie McMahon’s podcast. “We’re so happy for you.” Like, oh my god, it’s just like…it’s so nauseating.

Francine: Why are you such a buzz killer, like buzzkill, why? It’s a joyous time. Listen, you don’t understand because you were never in the business…when you’re in the locker room, with people year after year after year, they become your family. They become like a second family. So, what is wrong with them celebrating one of their own having a baby? There’s nothing wrong with it.
