MJF Tells AEW Star To “Keep His Mouth Shut”
MJF emerged from Revolution with the AEW World Title still around his waist and he has had some harsh words for several stars who could challenge him, singling out Adam Cole for particular admonishment.
MJF retained his AEW World Title at Revolution in a brutal and bloody one-hour Iron Man match against Bryan Danielson. With the bout tied at three all, Tony Khan demanded a Sudden Death overtime period which MJF won by cracking Danielson on the head with an oxygen tank before shockingly making him tap out to his own LeBell Lock.
At the post-show media scrum, MJF talked a lot of smack about a lot of other stars who could be in line for a title shot in the near future. He took particular aim at the recently returned Adam Cole over recent comments he made on social media as well as comments made by Cole’s girlfriend Britt Baker over MJF’s relationship woes:
“To be brutally honest, there are a lot of people on my radar. I am fully aware that Hangman Adam Page is a good competitor. I’m also fully aware of how I won [the Dynamite Diamond ring]. Anyone know who I beat for this originally? Hangman Adam Page. I think Hangman is scared of MJF, and I think Hangman knows better than to come anywhere near MJF for the time being.

“Adam Cole was talking sh*t on Twitter. Wasn’t a fan of that. He should keep his f*cking mouth shut and maybe tell his girlfriend of his to do so as well. Are there more people? Sure. I don’t like Claudio Castagnoli’s face. I think Eddie Kingston is a crybaby bitch and he is also a little punk and I wouldn’t mind getting a chance to slap him across his blue-collared face.
“There are a lot of people that I would love to absolutely demolish both on the microphone and in the ring, but as I said, I don’t do dream matches. The only dream I have is to hold [the AEW World Title] and for the Reign of Terror to last an eternity.”
Adam Cole has not competed since June 2022 due to concussion issues but the star looks to be at the centre of AEW’s new reality All Access show so the star might not have to wait too long for a big title shot.
