Logan Paul Reveals Truth About Japan Ban
WWE recently returned to Japan for a tour but Logan Paul was noticeable by his absence following his controversial past in the country.
In 2017, YouTube star Logan Paul caused an international incident when he released a video showing a suicide victim in Japan’s infamous Aokigahara Forest. Many had wondered if this had anything to do with Paul missing WWE’s return to Japan but he has noted that he missed that tour due to prior commitments.
Logan Paul Not Banned In Japan
Speaking on his Impaulsive podcast, Paul was in conversation with Dominik Mysterio when the subject of Japan came up, Paul noted he’s not banned from Japan but would want to be invited back if he was to ever return:
Yes, I can go to Japan. […] I’ve never said this before, but my rule was if I went back, I’d like to be invited back. I haven’t gotten the invite yet.
Paul then noted his best bet of being invited to the country came from WWE. Dominik Mysterio then noted Paul would be a huge heel in the country if he wore the same hat that he wore in the offending video. Logan Paul ended that discussion immediately and noted that was going too far.
Logan Paul recently lost the WWE US Title to LA Knight at SummerSlam bringing his 273-day reign as champion to a crashing halt.
