Logan Paul Returning To Boxing In The UK, Date & Opponent Announced
Logan Paul will return to the boxing ring on October 14th.
As announced by the WWE Superstar on social media, Paul will face MMA fighter Dillon Danis in Manchester one week after the Fastlane Premium Live Event.
Paul wasted no time in trash-talking his future opponent, doubtful that the Bellator fighter will make the appearance for the scheduled fight:
OCTOBER 14 I return to boxing after fighting Floyd Mayweather over 2 years ago. I doubt this little parasite will show up but if he does I’m going to erase him from existence. The PRIME Card — Oct 14 in Manchester, live on DAZN PPV!
The Paul brothers are fast becoming two of the most recognisable names in boxing following multiple high-profile fights. Most recently, Logan requested that he could open SummerSlam in his match against Ricochet so that he could fly to Dallas to watch brother Jake fight former UFC star Nate Diaz.
The match will likely be a brief hiatus from wrestling as opposed to pursuing glory in boxing, as Paul has been told by a major name in wrestling that his future is with WWE.
Who Has WWE Superstar Logan Paul Boxed Against?
Paul has fought in 3 boxing matches, with 1 amateur, 1 professional and 1 exhibition match to his name. The debut came in 2018 when Paul faced fellow YouTube star KSI in an amateur fight, which was declared a draw. The rematch would take place under professional rules in 2019, with KSI being victorious.
No one could have predicted the next opponent for Paul, one of the greatest boxers of all time and someone who has also competed at WrestleMania, Floyd Mayweather Jr. The fight was not scored, meaning no winner was determined in the exhibition match.
