Logan Paul Calls Out Conor McGregor
Logan Paul wants to make more viral moments.
Having previously shared the ring with The Mysterios, Roman Reigns and even Floyd Mayweather Jr., the social media has now laid down the challenge to one of the biggest names in the history of UFC Conor McGregor.
On social media on August 8th, Paul would announce his return to boxing against Dillon Danis, a fighter known for his time in the Bellator MMA promotion. Delighted with the return to action, McGregor quoted a picture of the fight poster with the caption “Dillon Danis Returns!”
Borrowing a quote from Hall of Famer Goldberg, the WWE Superstar would then respond to the former UFC Champion by simply stating “You’re next.”
This is not the first time that The Notorious One has been called out by a Superstar, with Dolph Ziggler previously expressing his intentions to face off against McGregor.
McGregor and Paul both share the unique accolade of facing Mayweather Jr. in a boxing fight on pay-per-view. However, the difference in circumstances of the matches would differ greatly. Whilst Paul’s bout was an exhibition match and unscored, McGregor faced the former WBC Light Middleweight Champion in a professional manner, being knocked out in the 10th round.
When Is Logan Paul Fighting Next?
The YouTube star will be returning to the UK on October 14th to put the gloves on once again. The fight will take place in Manchester and will be streamed exclusively on DAZN.
The host of Impaulsive will hope that his upcoming Manchester appearance will go better than the last time he competed in the UK. Appearing at the Money in the Bank PLE on July 1st, Paul was unsuccessful in unhooking the briefcase while competing in the opening match of the show.
