Logan Paul And Ricochet Planning “Viral” Moment At SummerSlam
The matchup between Logan Paul and Ricochet at SummerSlam is likely to feature a “viral” moment, according to a new report.
Following their memorable moment during the Royal Rumble back in January, Logan Paul and Ricochet were destined to have a match this year. That moment in the Rumble saw them both do springboard attacks off the top rope leading to a collision in the ring. It was an impressive move featuring two great athletes.
At last month’s Money in the Bank PLE, Logan Paul and Ricochet were in the Men’s MITB Ladder match. They did a spot where they jumped off the ropes and were going to go through a table, but they didn’t complete the move properly and had a crash landing through the two tables on the floor. Thankfully, neither guy was hurt that badly.
Since Money in the Bank, Logan and Ricochet have exchanged words repeatedly. During most of their segments, Logan has gotten the upper hand physically as well.
This past Monday on Raw, Logan Paul made it personal by taunting Ricochet when he said that the ring announcer Samantha Irvin, who is engaged to Ricochet, will get to announce Logan as the winner of their match. That also ended with Logan knocking out Ricochet with a punch.
It has also been reported by Wrestlevotes on Twitter/X that Logan Paul and Ricochet have worked on their match at the WWE Performance Center this week. They have “high expectations” and plan to have some sort of viral moment during the match.
In preparation for tonight’s match, I’m told Logan Paul & Ricochet put in a dual training session together at the PC on 8/1. The two have placed high expectations on themselves for a “viral” moment tonight. #SummerSlam

Logan Paul & Ricochet Expected To Open SummerSlam
For weeks leading up to SummerSlam, Logan Paul has spoken about his desire to be the opening match on the show. That’s because his brother Jake Paul is fighting Nate Diaz in a boxing match. Paul wanted to go on first so that he could leave SummerSlam and go see his brother’s fight.
It was reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer that the Logan-Ricochet match is likely going on first although WWE hasn’t made that official announcement as of this writing.
